Bold and Beautiful Spoilers: Ridge Forrester Full of Regrets
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) went against his judgment to allow his father’s experimental surgery. While Eric Forrester (John McCook) is still alive, his son doesn’t see it that way.
Eric is not living the way his son wants him alive today. Not with tubes that now do his breathing for him Bold and beautiful. This is not the outcome his father wanted. His wish was to die naturally and not be kept alive on life support.
It deeply bothers Ridge Forrester to see his father like this, because he knows it goes against his father’s wishes. So the Bold and beautiful Spoilers leave Eric in this state all week, with Ridge growing increasingly agitated about his father’s fate.
B&B spoilers: Eric Forrester’s fate was in Ridge’s hands
The decision to continue the experimental treatment or pull the plug on Eric was difficult for Ridge. He would have stuck with his initial decision to take him off life support if his family hadn’t been so adamant about doing anything to save the Forrester patriarch.
It looks like Ridge will have to make another tough decision midweek Brave and handsome. The spoilers indicate that as time goes on this week, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will also question her decision.
Then on Friday some family members come together with Ridge. Bold and beautiful spoilers say the topic of that conversation is what Eric would want now that he can’t breathe on his own. So it looks like there will be another should-we-or-shouldn’t-we-happen for next Friday’s cliffhanger.
But as the soap rolls on, Ridge, seeing his father in the position he didn’t want to be in, takes its toll on him. Is this a hint of what Ridge might do next?
Bold and the Beautiful spoilers: Eric changes or takes his last breath?
Ridge Forrester’s worst nightmare is that Eric Forrester comes out as a man no one recognizes. He has repeated this concern several times Bold and beautiful in the past two weeks.
So will B&B take that leap and turn Eric into a stranger? There are a few ways this could happen. Ridge’s consciousness could wreak havoc on him until he decides to honor his father’s wishes and pull the plug.
This could be something he does without anyone knowing. Bold and beautiful could have him sneak into Eric’s room, say goodbye, and then literally unplug him.
This way, no one can talk Ridge Forrester out of his mind if Eric Forrester is already gone. But what happens when his biggest worry comes into play and Eric emerges from his coma as someone new to them?

This gives Bold and beautiful a blank canvas to paint. They could make him a tyrant, a saint or even Eric Forrester, who thinks he’s alive ten years ago. He might even wake up and believe that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) is still his wife.
Then of course there is always a chance that all this dragging on will unfortunately end. Eric Forrester might just drift off and never wake up on the CBS soap again.
