Season after season, Christian Siriano continues to surprise us with calculated risks, and in his latest Fall/Winter 2024 collection he has reimagined glamor in such a brilliant and captivating way.
Inspired by the 1965 novel and subsequent films, “Dune,” Siriano opted for futurism as he reimagined what eveningwear would look like in a sci-fi, apocalyptic desert.
Think vibrant burnt oranges and reds, liquid metallics and black glittering tinsel adorned models as they strutted down the runway at the Plaza Hotel in New York City.
A student of some of the greats such as the late Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen during his early years as a designer, Siriano developed his own brand that quickly became popular among the masses.
“In keeping with the essence of our Siriano custom, the autumn/winter collection balances strength and power with soft, romantic elegance.” Siriano said in a press release.
During the catwalk show, his vision became more apparent this season with statement pieces in full overload that we could certainly see on the red carpet or at the Met Gala.
Supermodel Coco Rocha, the ultimate poster girl for Siriano, looked absolutely stunning in a white silk dress with an over-the-top pleated tulle top. The gold foil accents in her hair felt ethereal and added a modern dimension to the evening elegance.
Attending his show included our everyday Fashion Bomb CEO Claire Sulmers, who wore a beautiful custom Christian Siriano ensemble, Alicia Silverstone. Sophia Bush, Ashlee Simpson, Busy Philipand much more.
