Kristen Stewart is a true star and has long proven her acting talent in a slew of amazingly reviewed films. O’Brian makes a name for himself by appearing in both films Miracle (Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania) And Star Wars (The Mandalorian) projects. In December 2023, it was announced that the film would have its world premiere in the Midnight section of the 2024 Sundance Film Festival.

The trailer is packed with interesting cinematography, compelling performances, an ’80s synthwave soundtrack, and a surprisingly good amount of Katy O’Brian’s Jackie looking ripped. The trailer opens with Lou (Stewart) being interrogated by the FBI about her father’s (Harris) hearing, as the neon “Gym” sign buzzes with foreboding. Flashes of her family business in the criminal underworld are interspersed throughout the conversation, perfectly setting the stage for our main characters in the film.
The trailer then cuts to Jackie, a bodybuilder traveling through the city on his way to Las Vegas. Lou is in love with her and the two seem to have a very passionate and steamy relationship. Of course, everything threatens to collapse the moment Lou’s family sets eyes on them. The trailer shows an overview of the film, with a barrage of muscle, crime, bloodshed and a choice.
The trailer’s most impressive beats showcase Katy O’Brian’s incredibly fit and toned physique. The trailer shows glimpses of incredible sequences where The Mandalorian the star’s muscles pop. It would be very interesting to see O’Brian’s Jackie in the film, as the main focus will be on her dream of making it in the bodybuilding world, and seeing her get caught up in this web of crime and violence.
Director Rose Glass co-wrote the script Love lies bleeding of Weronika Tofilska. The film is a joint production of both A24 and Film 4. This is Glass’s second film. Love lies bleeding will be released on March 8, 2024 following a January 20 release at the Sundance Film Festival.
