Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid speaks out Travis Kelce And Taylor Swift‘s relationship, and admits he’s a “huge fan” of the couple.
The “Love Story” singer has attended many Chiefs games to cheer on her boyfriend and the team, which has caught the attention of NFL fans and Swifties alike.
The first was on September 24, when the “Teardrops on My Guitar” singer was spotted next to Kelce’s mother, Donna. She also attended a Sunday Night Football game in September, during which Swift arrived at MetLife Stadium along with Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively and Hugh Jackman to cheer on the Chiefs against the New York Jets.
Andy Reid is a ‘big fan’ of Taylor Swift
Reid, who coaches Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs, addressed the impact Swift has had on recent games, saying, “Listen, I’m a big fan, so I’m glad she was here, and I hope she enjoyed it.” Reid told PEOPLE about the Chiefs’ recent win over the New England Patriots on Sunday.
“She has a wonderful man who she is dating now, so I’m happy for both of them,” he added.
The Chiefs head coach has been vocal about supporting Kelce and Swift, as Reid “joked about drafting Kelce” during his interview with Outkick two months ago.
“She’s a good girl, she’s looking forward to it, we’re happy she’s here,” Reid added about the pop icon at the time.
Taylor Swift is ‘in love’ with Travis Kelce
Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce have been dating for a few months and seem happier than ever.
Now that Swift’s international Eras Tour leg has come to an end, a source close to the couple stated that the two “finally have the time and opportunity to spend some real quality time together.”
“Taylor is still in love with Travis,” an insider told the Daily Mail a few weeks ago. “But she realizes that the hard work in their relationship is about to begin as they will spend weeks at a time together. So far it has been time consuming because they both had such busy schedules.”
Taylor has attended several Kansas City Chiefs games to cheer on Travis Kelce, which the Chiefs tight end returned the favor when he showed up for Taylor’s Eras Tour in Argentina during the Kansas City Chiefs’ bye week last month.
“Those are clearly not the things a regular new couple would do in their first months together,” the source added, referring to the fact that Swift and Kelce are some of the biggest names in Hollywood right now and have extremely busy schedules. “But now Taylor and Travis can try to be as normal as their lives allow them,” the source added.
The pop music icon also recently revealed that her romance with Travis Kelce began before she attended the first Kansas City Chiefs game and the relationship was made public.
