Former child star Amanda Bynes did a 180 and announced that her podcast is no longer on hiatus, and that she will be filming a new episode of her show this week!
Bynes initially told her fans that she would be putting her podcast on hiatus due to a lack of high-profile guests like Drake and Post-Malone.

Shortly after announcing that her podcast would be taking a hiatus, Bynes brought it back and plans to release episodes for her fans.
The former actress responded on her Instagram Stories, saying, “So I wanted to post about how I felt last night after I posted that we were pausing the podcast. I felt very sad and in a very bad mood, because the podcast was actually something that I was really looking forward to filming next week, and it was something that I was very excited about.
She continued, “So I talked to some friends, and they all said we should keep going. So we will continue with the podcast and film next Friday as planned. I think podcasts just take time to grow and build a following.
“I shouldn’t have said what I said last night about not getting the kind of guests we were looking forward to because you never know, we might get them in the future. And the guests that we have lined up are actually really great, so I’m really looking forward to filming the next episode and that’s about it,” Bynes said in the short clip.
In another video, the 37-year-old revealed that she and her co-host, Paul Sieminski, have found their next guest for Friday’s episode. Bynes said, “His name is Nick Mendes and he is the store manager of the Flight Club store in LA. I can’t wait to interview him.”
Why she initially paused her podcast
Bynes, who recently made her Hollywood comeback with the podcast, stunned her followers when she revealed her podcast would be going bust.
At the time, she claimed that the reason for the sudden hiatus was a lack of high-profile guests on the podcast. She mentioned names like Drake and Jack Harlow as stars she would have liked to have on her show.
“So even though the podcast is doing really well and the response is great, I’m going to take a break for a while,” Bynes said on her IG stories at the time.
She continued, “We can’t get the kind of guests that I would want on this show, like, say, Jack Harlow or Drake or Post Malone. So maybe one day, if we can get those kinds of guests on this show, we’ll resume the podcast, but for now I’m taking a break from it. Thanks everyone who watched. I really hope you enjoyed it, and that’s all for now.
