Dr. Phil McGraw spoke out on Sunday to criticize US universities as “liberal woke hotbeds harboring anti-Semitism” after the heads of Harvard University, MIT and the University of Pennsylvania displayed what he described as a “sickening smugness” while speaking before Congress testified. problem.

McGraw sounds out

The Jerusalem Post reported that after leaders from Harvard University, MIT and the University of Pennsylvania appeared before Congress last week, McGraw said they showed “an arrogance and contempt rarely seen in that forum.” while they claimed that the call for the genocide of the Jews only violates their school’s bullying and harassment policy if it is said in the ‘correct context’.

“To be 100% clear: using the dictionary definition of genocide, the question becomes: is calling for the intentional killing of a large number of Jews in order to destroy the Jewish ethnic group and the nation of Israel a violation of your policy against bullying and bullying? harassment?” McGraw stated in a video posted to social media.

After watching the school leaders’ testimonies, McGraw only became more frustrated and disgusted.

“How much context would be needed if the student organizations were demonstrating in support of the genocide of all Asians, Catholics, blacks or gays?” McGraw asked. “I’ll tell you how many: none.”

“And you know what? That shouldn’t be there,” he continued. “All these groups deserve protection and the right to go to school without fear, and that includes Jewish students.”

He didn’t stop there, but McGraw went on to say that he watched a video released by the Israeli military that contained raw footage of the Hamas terrorist attacks on Israel that took place on October 7.

“The assaults against the women and girls were so sick and twisted that they defy explanation,” McGraw said. “These were not acts of war; they were mass murdering cowards, high on the drug Captagon, celebrating and tallying their kills like they were in a drunken bar game on a Saturday night.

“The video footage made me so sick that I can never escape what was done to babies in cribs and young girls begging for their lives,” he added. “I am changed forever.”

McGraw accused the presidents of American universities of giving in to terror through their actions.

“I love and stand with my Jewish brothers and sisters,” said McGraw, who ended the video by lighting orange Hanukkah candles in honor of Ariel and Kfri Bibas, two Israeli children who were taken hostage and in Gaza left behind.

“This menorah reminds us that light always prevails over darkness and good over evil as an American,” McGraw concluded.

UPENN president resigns

This comes after Liz Magill resigned as president of the University of Pennsylvania following the backlash over her testimony in Congress.

“It has been my privilege to chair this remarkable institution. It has been an honor to work with our faculty, students, staff, alumni and community members to advance Penn’s critical missions,” Magill said in a brief statement, according to NPR.

CNN reported that calls for the resignation of Harvard President Claudine Gay and MIT President Sally Kornbluth are increasing following their disastrous testimonies.

“One down. Two more to go,” Republican Rep. Elise Stefanik of New York wrote on social media. “In the case of @Harvard, President Gay was asked by me seventeen times whether calling for the genocide of Jews violates Harvard’s code of conduct. She spoke her truth 17 times. And the world heard it.”

What has happened to American colleges is nothing short of a travesty, and we applaud McGraw for having the courage to speak out against the anti-Semitism that is rising on campuses across the country. What do you think of what he had to say? Let us know in the comments section.
