Judd addresses fan concerns
“Don’t read the comments, I read the comments!” Judd, 59, said in the video. ‘I’m going to explain it to all of you. I was so very nervous. I got out and looked at Jelly Roll. I wanted it to be this good for him. I could cry right now, but I’m not going to because I’m such a fan of his and he asked me to sing and I said, ‘Absolutely!’
“I got there and I was so nervous I just held on,” she added. “And that is the starting point. Everthing okay!”
Daily Mail reported that fans said Judd looked “unsteady” during her performance with Jelly Roll.
“There’s something wrong with her. I hope she is doing well!” one social media user commented, while another added, “Wynonna Judd holding on to Jelly Roll for dear life #CMAawards.”
Others said Judd could “barely walk” and “barely hold herself up” as she sang.

Before taking the stage, Judd opened up to Entertainment Tonight about why she decided to perform with Jelly Roll.
“I have to stand up for people like people did for me,” she said on the red carpet. “It’s now my job to pass it on because people have been so generous to me and now it’s my turn to be generous to people like Jelly Roll and that’s what I’m doing.”
“I have my ups and my downs and that’s life, and I only tell the fans. Just like the other day, I felt emotional [my] Mom,” she continued. “And I was overwhelmed and I just said, ‘I need some water and I need someone to hold me while I take a deep breath and cry.’ And I just do it because that’s how life is.”
Judd’s mother Naomi Judd tragically committed suicide in April last year at the age of 76.

Judd meets Jelly Roll
Judd previously spoke about meeting Jelly Roll for the first time when they performed at the CMT Awards earlier this year.
“I didn’t know anything about him until the CMT Awards, and I stood up from my seat because he rocked my world,” Judd recalled, according to People Magazine. “I ran up to him and [wife Bunnie XO] after that, and I said, ‘I need to get to know you two,’ and I just threw myself at them and said, ‘I need to be a part of your world, and I don’t know what that looks like. ‘, so here we are.
Before their performance last night, Jelly Roll said he was “overwhelmed” by the honor of performing with Judd.
“I could never have even imagined this. Someone said, ‘Would you ever have dreamed of this?’ And I wasn’t bold enough to dream that big,” he said. “So I hope that someone sitting at home right now with a dream – you think those dreams are too big, and maybe they’re too small after all, honey. Dream bigger. Dream bigger.”
