Bialik sounds out against Israel
Bialik, 47, prefaced her rant by saying her video was “unscripted” and that she spoke from the heart. She then threw her support behind Israel before lashing out at her alma mater UCLA for allegedly turning a blind eye to anti-Semitism.
“Imagine if there was a mass murder of an ethnic group or religious group, the equivalent of 50,000 Americans,” she said. “And imagine what happened next, there were marches of tens of thousands of people all over the world calling for further mass murder of those people… That’s what it feels like now as a Jewish person.”
“There has been no experience in my life that has prepared me for this,” she continued. “The speed with which the world’s population has seized on the massacre of Jewish citizens living within a border. The speed at which the world has moved to redefine terrorism, to redefine the state, to redefine the right to exist of a people.”
Bialik went on to say that she has supported a Palestinian state and “spoke out against injustice, persecution and suffering of the Palestinian people.”

Bialik slams UCLA for anti-Semitism
Bialik then shifted her focus to the spread of anti-Semitism, attending UCLA, where she earned a BS in neuroscience and Hebrew and Jewish studies, as well as a PhD in neuroscience.
“It is clear that there is a form of anti-Semitism that is alive and well,” she said. “It thrives at my Alma Mater (UCLA), where the chant ‘We want a Jewish genocide’ echoed on the quad in front of Royce Hall.”
“There is no excuse for calling for a genocide of an entire people. Period of time. Period,” Bialik added. “I am no longer afraid to draw comparisons with the global attempt at elimination of the Jewish people that my grandparents fled from Eastern Europe.”

“I have always believed that Israel was my homeland, and now I understand it better than ever before,” Bialik concluded, ending her video by thanking those who have supported the Jewish people.

Bialik’s previous comments about Israel
Bialik had previously shared her thoughts on this conflict earlier this month.
“My heart is big. My heart can hold love for Israel, the homeland of the Jewish people,” she wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. “My heart feels the immense pain and horror that the Israeli people experience and I share that pain. My heart feels fear because of the anti-Semitism moving through this world with no end in sight.”
“My heart feels anger at the lack of unanimous global support for the swift return of the hostages taken by Hamas, the terrorist organization terrorizing both Israelis and Palestinians,” she continued. “My heart can hold all this. Is yours possible?”
