Young and restless spoilers promise Lily Winters is about to leave soon, and that could mean a lot of drama for her love life. Also returning is a legendary character and fan favorite J&R. Check out the latest casting updates for the CBS soap.
Young and the restless comings and goings: Lily Winter’s Exit approaches
J&R casting updates confirm that Lily Winter’s (Christel Khalil) departure is fast approaching. Her portrayer is expecting her second child and she will soon go on maternity leave. So that makes us wonder how Lily’s absence will factor into her current storyline.
She finds herself in a tough situation with her boyfriend Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei), as his ex, Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom), moves back to Genoa City for good. Heather’s presence is already causing problems for the happy couple Young and restless.
And she could very well be the reason Lily won’t be seen for a while. Maybe she’ll leave town to clear her head. She may not be able to continue her relationship with Daniel if she thinks he has unresolved feelings for Heather.
Y&R Casting News – Chelsea is coming home
While the Lily actress goes on maternity leave, Chelsea Lawson’s alter ego, Melissa Claire Egan, is returning from her. Young and restless casting news will soon see Chelsea back in Genoa City.
It’s great timing indeed for her boyfriend, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). He’s in the middle of some serious Abbott family drama. And he has his hands full with his cousin, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
He’s after Billy’s job Jabot Cosmetics, and since he can’t get it, he’s ready to help their greatest enemy, Tucker, steal the entire company. Billy could definitely use some advice from Chelsea. And hopefully she can keep him from spiraling and bending down to Kyle’s level.
Young and the Restless Casting Updates: Nina Webster Returns
Additional casting changes tell us that Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) will be back on screen soon. She’s back in town on November 2 to see her best friend, Christine Blair Williams (Lauralee Bell). Currently, ‘Cricket’ is going through a tough time as she and her husband, Paul Williams (Doug Davidson), have decided to divorce.
She needs her best friend now more than ever. So of course it makes sense that Nina would be there for her. And this takes place during a standalone episode for Christine as she tries to figure out what comes next in her life.
Plus, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is at home on Young and the Restless. And she confronts her estranged husband, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). J&R is now fire. Don’t miss a minute to see what drives Lily Winters off the CBS foam canvas.
