‘Modern family’ star and ‘Love Island USA’ host Sarah Hyland is now going viral for her guest star appearance on the hit show “Law & Order: SVU” and it is insane.
Hyland has guest-starred in several episodes in the past, but this new one is now the most popular of them all.
Sarah Hyland’s ‘SVU’ performance is a must see!
Sarah Hyland first appeared in the Season 3 premiere episode of ‘Law & Order: SVU’ called ‘Repression’, where she played Lily, the possibly abused daughter of a man accused of abuse.
In 2005, she returned to the franchise for the short-lived Law & Order: Trial by Jury, and then again in 2009, playing the role of a young crazy competitive high school student. Although it has been fifteen years since the episode aired, her performance went viral on social media in the summer of 2023 and is now going viral again.
One scene in particular is catching fans’ attention as her character admits to killing her best friend so she could be the smartest kid in their class.
A third wrote: “Sarah Hyland’s ‘svu’ performance… the tears from her eyes fell to the ground creating a body of water we now know as Mother Lake.”
Sarah Hyland played Sarah Banks in the “Law & Order: SVU” episode titled “Hothouse,” which can be streamed on Peacock.
Sarah Hyland talks about set of ‘Modern Family’
After her appearances on “Law & Order: SVU,” Sarah Hyland went on to star in other popular shows, including “Modern Family” and became the host of “Love Island USA.”
Sarah Hyland recently spoke to BuzzFeed about her “Modern Family” days, and even admitted that she might be. loud-mouthed while on set, forcing the production crew to make some changes during filming.
“I feel like I was so loud-mouthed when we were filming Modern Family. What more can I say?” Hyland admitted. “What people don’t know is that when Haley was pregnant, they made a fake prosthetic belly for when we did an ultrasound. I had to go to a place and they took pictures of my belly. Every woman’s dream, right? Pictures of your stomach for skin color – and I have some freckles on my stomach, and on the prosthesis they had them where they would be if this skin was stretched.
She continued, “It was so creepy and crazy. I thought, ‘Can I keep this?’ And they say, ‘No.’ Who has a prosthesis for my pregnant belly? Where is that going? It’s so weird. I also wore a onesie for when you can’t see the actual skin of the stomach. I got so into character that I gained like 20 pounds on set – because in my head I’m saying, ‘Crap, I’m eating for three. I have twins!’ And then I went back to my trailer and took it off and said, ‘Oh no, what have I done?’ on repeat every day.”
