Many people in Washington are talking about the possible government shutdown that is coming.
Of course, Zelensky has nothing to worry about. He gets his money because the Pentagon exempted Ukraine’s funding from the shutdown.
Whatever happens to the Americans, we must be absolutely sure that the money continues to flow to Ukraine.
Political reports:
The Pentagon exempts Ukrainian activities from a possible government shutdown
The Pentagon will exempt its operations in Ukraine from a possible shutdown if lawmakers cannot agree on a deal to fund the government by the end of the month, ensuring uninterrupted key training and other activities in support of Kiev’s armed forces can continue, a Pentagon spokesperson said. Spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense.
Washington is becoming increasingly resigned to the impending government shutdown every day. With the September 30 deadline approaching, congressional leaders have made little progress this week in introducing an emergency funding bill to prevent that scenario. The House of Representatives was in chaos Thursday as a group of Republican party hardliners undermined a vote that could have provided a way to fund the government.
But if lawmakers fail to reach an agreement and government appropriations expire, DOD has decided to continue activities in support of Ukraine, DOD spokesman Chris Sherwood told POLITICO on Thursday — just hours after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had met with Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, General Mark. Milley and other senior leaders at the Pentagon.
This is so insulting to the American people.
Just in: The Pentagon has decided to exempt its activities in Ukraine from a possible government shutdown if lawmakers fail to reach a deal by the end of the month.
This means that tens of billions will continue to flow into Ukraine regardless.
Why is that even legal? pic.twitter.com/GKcCPb9aTb

Even if Congress doesn’t appropriate money, the Pentagon will continue to fund Ukraine. As I said, we do not have a representative government. We haven’t had one in a while. We have an oligarchy with the trappings of representative government. https://t.co/G6k8D7joJJ

The conference has been a dog and pony show.
It’s an act
The dementia patient in the White House shows that the presidency is an act. There’s no way he’s actually making decisions
The emperor has no clothes on for the entire “Daylight Government.”
Who pulls the strings?

Zelensky says ‘jump’ and our leaders in Congress ask him how high. It is pathetic.
