On Saturday, Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) described House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) when he started talking about Jordan’s 1/6 subpoena.
Representative Swalwell explained to CNN’s Jim Acosta why he called Jordan out during a recent hearing:
The American people want the Justice Department to work for them, and when I heard Jim Jordan make these baseless attacks on Merrick Garland, I thought people should know that Jordan has no credibility. Funnily enough, as soon as I started speaking, he started running away as if I had a congressional subpoena in my hand.
You have to discredit MAGA Republicans every time they try to get their points because these are pro-insurgents. They supported the insurrection, including by inciting it, acquitted them, voted on impeachment, offered comfort and visited the January 6 defendants. They have no credibility. Next, we must focus on debunking all the false claims that have been put forth and letting the American people know that when we are once again given the keys to govern in Congress, we will focus and accomplish what they want. So discredit, defend and deliver. Three Ds is the best way to hang out with these guys.

Representative Swalwell was right. Jim Jordan has less than zero credibility and he should be called into every hearing he holds. The hearing chaired by Jordan is full of hypocrisy because they are led by a congressman who claims the government has been weaponized for avoiding a subpoena to discuss his role in potentially helping Trump attempt to overthrow the government.
Democrats won’t let the nation forget the role of House Republicans like Jim Jordan in the 1/6 attack.
