The 37-year-old dancer and Williams looked adorable in a new Instagram video shared on Murgatroyd and “DWTS” official page, when Murgatroyd revealed they had just met.
Williams made a dramatic turn with a beaming smile as Murgatroyd introduced him to fans and followers, describing him as “cute, so cute.” Murgatroyd informed fans during their first meeting and didn’t hesitate to admit how happy and excited she was to work with the talented actor.
Williams was quite the charmer and sought professional tips from his new dance partner, who advised him to “hold on to your pants, control yourself and have fun.” The 68-year-old nodded in agreement and promised to have fun on stage.
Fans quickly stormed the comments section to share their thoughts on the ‘funny’ combination. One follower wrote: “These two will be the only reason I watch!” a second fan added: “That’s going to be amazing.. Fingers crossed @thebarrywilliams.”
Another avid follower who is a fan of Williams’ work wrote: “Barry. I grew up watching reruns of the Brady group in the early 80’s! Good luck!!!..” A fourth commenter promised to vote for the duo. So I’m voting for Barry and Peta!” However, a fifth fan brings a new perspective:
“Unfortunately they will go away soon, but that’s probably what Peta wants, a little weight loss and back to the baby.”
Just a few days ago, The Blast noted that Murgatroyd announced her return to the series by sharing her and Williams’ official portrait for season 32.. The duo looked stylish as Murgatroyd donned a silver dress and matching bracelets. She wore her long blonde locks in a center parting as it flowed down her back.
Matching her energy, Williams looked dapper in a sequined suit with velvet black lapels and pockets. He paired it with matching pants and an undershirt. “Let’s go @thebarrywilliams 🎉 My season 32 partner is an absolute gem! #dwts.” the 37-year-old wrote as she leaned into Williams and placed a hand on his shoulder and her waist.
Delighted fans flocked to her comments section as one praised her strength: “How many weeks postpartum are you!?! Girl you are my hero 💪,” while a second fan added, “So happy to see you this season after having a new baby!!! Good luck to you both and have a great season!”
A third fan expressed his joy at the match: “I love that he’s your partner! ❤️great competition! Make it a super season! ❤️,” while the fourth fan was a bit skeptical about their pairing: “Oh Peta, they make you dirty every year, that’s total bs and not good!” A fifth fan urged fans to “Don’t count out Greg Brady!” since he used to be “groovy, so let’s see!!!👏👏
The 32nd season of “DWTS” airs September 26 on ABC and Disney+, with Alfonso Ribeiro and Juliane Hough co-hosting for the first time. The 37-year-old planned to hire a full-time nanny to care for the children because her mother’s green card was taking too long to process.
The mother of two doesn’t mind baby number 3!
The professional Latin dancer who welcomed her second son in June may already have plans for a third baby and remains open to the idea. Murgatroyd shared this during a question and answer session on her Instagram story as she spoke about her struggles with infertility and her second son, Rio Joy Chmerkovskiy.
The ‘Faith, Hope & Love’ actress doesn’t mind having a girl for the third time and shared: “If it happens, it happens, and that would be great.” Murgatroyd and her husband, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, tied the knot in 2017. They celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary in July and married each other via Instagram.
