In Germany, Dani Olmo has excelled, prompting RB Leipzig to make a stunning move to stop Bayern Munich from signing him this summer.
The attacker was part of Culé’s youth academy before leaving for Croatia in 2014 at the age of 16.
The now 25-year-old footballer made the observation in the documentary Come On Fútbol, produced by DAZN and Common Goal.
“I was happy at Barça. In four of the six years I was there I was top scorer, played as a striker and winger, and was also an under-16 and under-17 international,” he said.
Olmo also provided a defense for leaving the Barcelona squad. He achieved this by emphasizing:
“What I wanted was a sporting project within me and Dinamo gave me that. When you leave Barça it’s not all rosy and in Croatia I understood it. There I became a man in every respect, both on and off the field.”
