Justin Stephens/Discovery (3)During the final episode of Sister Women, Kody Brown blame it Christine Brown And Janelle Brown for his problems with their respective children.
“Christine and Janelle are nice [of] along with this whole thing,” Kody, 54, claimed on the Sunday, September 17 episode of the TLC series. “[They] basically shattered my whole world.”
Kody claimed that his relationships with the children he shares with Christine, 51, and Janelle, 54, are strained because of their mothers. Kody shares A spider28, Mykelti27, Pedon25, Gwendlyn21, Ysabel20, and Really and truly, 13, with Christine. He and Janelle share daughters Madison27, and In the savannah18, and sons Logan29, Hunter26, Garrison25, and Gabriel21.
“I’m in a place where I’m separated from my children because they kicked me out of my house or out of the space that I had with those children,” he said during a confessional. “I haven’t had the emotional strength to reach out, I don’t even know what to do or say.”
Kody joked: “And the phone goes both ways, the kids can always call me.”
Last season, Kody’s problems with two of his and Janelle’s boys – Gabe and Garrison – came to a head after the kids blamed the fourth wife Robin Brown because Kody was missing from their lives during COVID.

While Kody claimed to Janelle that he no longer needed an apology from Gabe and Garrison to celebrate the 2022 holidays, he chose not to see Janelle’s children for Christmas. The family tension led to resentment for both Christine, who divorced Kody in November 2021, and Janelle, who confirmed in December 2022 that she and Kody had separated.
Christine expressed her frustration during Sunday’s episode after learning that Kody hadn’t spoken to Janelle’s youngest child, Savanah, since her birthday… including Christmas.
“Savanah’s birthday is in early December. And it’s mid-January. He lives half an hour away. He comes into town. It’s just this pattern he has,” Christine told the cameras. “Why be [Janelle and Savanah] do you still live here? Why? Why stay in this? Oh my God. I am so angry. I am so furious about this whole situation.”
Savanah was equally upset by what happened, telling Christine and her mother, Janelle, “I’m angry at him more than anything. And I was really sad, because you know, that’s my dad. But now I’m just mad at him. [There were] no gifts, nothing.” Janelle admitted she was “floored” that he didn’t make contact over Christmas.
“If Savanah wasn’t there, I wouldn’t have that kind of control. I’m so frustrated,” Christine said in a confessional. ‘I don’t care if he’s angry. If you are a father, you are a father. And you step up.”
Christine pointed out that Kody’s actions in abandoning Janelle and her children struck a nerve for her after her own drama with him. “I hate to see this happening to Janelle,” she said, noting, “My children felt neglected for years. It just happens again.”
Christine concluded by asking, “Is he going to leave everyone but Robyn?”
In real time, Kody’s first wife, Meri Brown, confirmed in January that the couple had split after more than 30 years together. Robyn, 44, is Kody’s only remaining wife, whom he legally married in 2014.
Sister Women airs on TLC Sundays at 10pm ET.
