We’re in the swing of New York Fashion Week and the fashion, street style, runway stunts and after-parties aren’t slowing down. Last night, emerging label Imperial Legacy presented its Spring 2024 show, aptly titled Did they clone Imperial? after the Netflix sci-fi thriller starring John Boyega, They cloned Tyrone.

Imperial Legacy, held at the Bogart House in Brooklyn, took fashion fans, editors, influencers and other attendees on an abstract fashion journey.
From the first look to the last, illuminating shades in impressionistic patterns were riddled on the catwalk. The color palette was not just a tip for the coming warmer months, but a tool for telling the story of this collection. These bold hues anchor the ’60s mod and disco influences seen throughout the lineup.

Like the film from which the show takes its name, Imperial Legacy Spring 2024 is a dynamic harmony of multiple styles spanning several decades.
With blockbuster influences and inspiration from their family, the label’s founders, brother and sister Faith and Marcus Smith, shake up fashion week with a vibrant collection that takes fashion on a time-traveling adventure.
