While there are many websites that claim to show you strength training exercises online, in reality this is not the way to go. If you want to start a strength training program, you really need to work with someone else. There are many options available. You can go to the gym, use free weights at home with a friend, or buy one of these machines, but if you don’t do your strength training with proper safety precautions, it’s very possible that you could seriously injure yourself. I recommend doing your strength training at the gym. There are several good reasons for this, and I’ll tell you some of the best ones. First of all, you can get a spot at the gym. Of all strength training injuries, most could have been prevented with a good spotter. This is especially true for free weights, which can injure or even kill you if you have to drop them due to muscle fatigue. This is the main reason to go to the gym, but certainly not the only one.

The fact is, it’s easier to get excited for your strength training workout when you go to the gym. Since all the people around you are spending their time getting in shape, you don’t feel like slacking on your strength training program while you’re at the gym. Many gyms even have personal trainers available to help you achieve your personal best by making you work harder than yourself and helping you pursue your goals. They can even suggest which strength training exercises to use and how many to use to strengthen the muscle groups you are interested in. However, before you start strength training, there are some cardiovascular things you need to do. While you can do just fine without strength training, cardio is absolutely essential for your health. You will live longer, be healthier, happier and even have more energy if you do some aerobic activity every day to stay active. We don’t stay young forever, but those of us who engage in appropriate aerobic exercise stay young longer than those who don’t. Once you get started, you can add it to your strength training program.
