Andy Cohen remains steadfast Madonna fan despite being singled out by the iconic singer!
The TV host was given a playful warning by the ‘Material Girl’ hitmaker during one of her concerts, a moment he took quite well. Although Cohen’s attitude on the show proved he didn’t mind Madonna’s jabs, he reaffirmed there was no bad blood between the pair in an adorable response to the viral moment.
Andy Cohen Praises Madonna Despite Being Labeled ‘Troublemaking Queen’
The film ‘Watch what happens live!’ The host recently updated his social media page with his response to Madonna calling him out for allegedly dissing her on his TV show. The upload included two videos, the first of which captured the moment between the duo at the singer’s concert in Brooklyn, New York.
During the weekend performance, the Queen of Pop paused her performance to look at Cohen, sitting in the front row close to the stage. “How damn lucky am I, Andy?” Madonna asked before sternly warning him to stop criticizing her on his show. In her words:
“If you say one more bad thing about me on your show, I’m going to – I’m going to – Oh, you’re going to be in so much trouble. You little troublemaking queen.”
During the conversation, the camera panned to Cohen and showed him reacting excitedly to the personal call. Although his words cannot be heard over the shouts of the crowd, he was seen saying “I love you.” However, his declaration of love fell short with Madonna, who sarcastically replied: “Oh yeah, of course, that’s that crazy kind of love. I know about it.”
On his Instagram In response to the moment, the TV personality shared a video compilation of all the moments he named Madonna as his Mazel of the Day on the ‘WWHL’ show. As mentioned, he confirmed his love for the iconic singer and embraced his new nickname in the post’s caption. Cohen wrote:
“I’ve been a lifelong Madonna fan, so it’s a thrill and an honor to be called a ‘troublemaking queen’ by the Queen of Troublemaking Queen. I BOW! Also check out the new tour. It blew me away!! What a great evening. I can’t wait to go back. #TroublemakingQueen.”
Cohen’s sweet moment with Madonna comes two months after her Celebration Tour hit a major snag in its early days. Day two of the musician’s comeback performance at the O2 Arena in Greenwich did not go as planned due to technical issues that caused her to start the show late.
She reached the stage at 9pm, leaving little room to beat the Arena’s strict 10:30pm curfew. Despite her best efforts to give a memorable performance, the 65-year-old had to cut out beloved hit songs, including “Like a Virgin” and “Celebration.”
Unfortunately, the reduction in the number of performances did not stop Madonna from ending the concert at 11pm, amid warnings that fans could miss the last metro trains. Breaking the curfew meant, under rules set by the arena’s operators and Transport for London, a fine of £10,000 ($12,166) for each minute exceeded.

For spending an extra 30 minutes, Madonna could have been fined £300,000 ($364,990). Fortunately, Greenwich Council insisted the midnight curfew had not been breached, with a representative noting they had no “intend to investigate the matter”.
Madonna expressed her gratitude for being alive after health problems
Before embarking on her Celebration Tour, Madonna suffered a terrifying health crisis that left many wondering if she would recover. Despite all odds, she overcame the life-threatening crisis and continued to bring joy to fans around the world, but no one was more grateful than her to be alive.
During her performance in Belgium, the “La Isla Bonita” singer reflected on her miraculous recovery, telling concertgoers, “Not even four months ago I was in a hospital, I was unconscious, and people were thinking and predicting that I might not make it.”
‘It’s a miracle that I’m here now. My mother, God bless her, she has to watch over me. She said, ‘Girl, it’s not your time to go yet,'” Madonna exclaimed as the crowd cheered. The 65-year-old also reiterated her appreciation for fans and her children, saying:
“I got another chance, so I’m very grateful for that. I have to tell you that I’m not feeling very well right now, but I can’t complain because I’m alive. Thank God for my children and all your love and support.”
Additionally, Madonna’s health scare made her think about her late mother, who died of breast cancer. She felt sympathy for the late matriarch, who must have felt lonely in the hospital, knowing her death was imminent.
